The toggle plate of the jaw crusher is a part that acts as a safety device for the crusher under abnormal conditions. Toggle plate: It is used to transmit power, support the lower end of the movable jaw to swing, and is also a safety device for the jaw crusher. When the crushing chamber enters the difficult-to-crush material, the toggle plate is broken first to protect the valuable parts of the machine (such as the movable jaw, the machine body, etc.) from damage. There are five common faults of the toggle plate.
(1) Toggle plate breakage
The size of the discharge port is too small, resulting in material jamming; iron objects pass through the equipment; there is a deviation between the toggle plate and the toggle plate pad. Just adjust the size of the discharge port to prevent material jamming; set up an iron blocking device to prevent the entry of iron objects; replace the toggle plate and the worn toggle plate pad, and install them correctly.
(2) Severe wear of the toggle plate seat
The mixing of foreign matter causes the wear of the toggle plate seat. At this time, clean up the foreign matter, check whether there is any foreign matter mixed in the toggle plate seat, and add grease to lubricate the toggle plate seat in time to prevent the mixing of foreign matter.
(3) Toggle plate falling off
The material inlet size is too large, causing it to fall off due to impact; insufficient spring tension; unreasonable material feeding position causing the liner to fall off. As long as the material is fed evenly and the size is appropriate, the feeding position must act on the rear wall of the hopper and cannot directly hit the upper jaw cover; adjust the reasonable spring tension.
(4) Toggle plate bending and cracking
The tension of the tension spring is insufficient; the particle size of the fed material does not meet the requirements; foreign matter is stuck at the bottom of the crushing chamber; the toggle plate is installed irregularly and unreasonable. The solution is to adjust the tension of the spring; control the feeding size; set up a foreign matter blocking detection device to remove foreign matter in time; the toggle plate installation surface must be smooth and flat, and the toggle plate seat must be repaired and maintained in time.
(5) Toggle plate support pad impact
Insufficient spring tension; the support pad is worn or loose. Adjust the spring force or replace the spring; tighten or correct the support seat.
